Bay Road Improvements Project - Street Detours

As part of the Bay Road Improvements project, Teichert Construction will be working on the storm drain system on Pulgas Avenue, between Bay Road and Runnymede Street starting September 21.  Seethe images for a traffic control plan that will be implemented to complete this work.  As part of this plan, Pulgas would be shut down to through traffic in one-block increments as work proceeds from Runnymede Street to Bay Road.  All residents and businesses will have access maintained for them but through traffic will be detoured around the work area as shown.  The reason for this is to decrease frequency of the public traveling through the work zone, which is safer for both the public, as well as City and Teichert employees.

The duration of this detour will be approximately five weeks (Monday through Friday 7:30am – 5:00pm).
