City Clerk
The City Clerk supports public transparency, maintains City compliance, manages City elections, City Council meetings, and provides access to the City’s public records and archives. The City Clerk ensures the integrity of the participatory process, bridging internal and external communication pathways, and enhancing the public’s trust in local government. The City Clerk coordinates City Council meetings which are typically held on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month. The City Clerk also serves as the City's Public Information Officer (PIO). The PIO is the communications coordinator for the City and the primary responsibility of a PIO is to create and enable communication to the public and media. The duties of the PIO consists of managing social media content, creating press releases, publishing the City newsletter, etc.
