Request for Proposals: SAFER Bay Project

The City of East Palo Alto is soliciting proposals from professional engineering consulting firms for the SAFER Bay Project. 

Project Background

The Strategy to Advance Flood Protection, Ecosystems, and Recreation along San Francisco Bay (SAFER Bay Project) is a project being implemented by the San Francisquito Creek Joint Powers Authority (SFCJPA). The overall purpose of this project is to reduce the risks to people, property, and infrastructure from current tidal flooding and projected sea level rise through engineered and natural features that enhance shoreline ecosystems and improve recreational opportunities.
