Water Conservation Resources
Although the City of East Palo Alto residents are among the lowest of SFPUC's Wholesale Customers, during droughts residents will be required to reduce water use. Below are some recourses that could help residents reduce water use and save money:
Rain Barrel rebates are available for San Mateo County residents. Up to $150 per rebate are available from the San Mateo Countywide Water Pollution Prevention Program for installations. Additional information can be found here.
The City of East Palo Alto is a member of the Bay Area Water Supply and Conservation Agency (BAWSCA). BAWSCA offers landscape classes and native garden tours. Additional BAWCA water conservation info and water conservation tips may be found here.
