Press Release - Two juveniles in custody for daytime gun battle

On December 27, 2024, at approximately 9:13 am, officers responded to a report of gunfire in the area of the 600 Block of Bell St. Officers arrived on the scene and discovered two subjects fired multiple gun shots at each other, one from a moving vehicle.  Neither one of the juveniles were injured in the exchange.

Flock cameras were used to help identify the vehicle and discover its location. After a thorough investigation was conducted, multiple search warrants were served. The vehicle used in the incident was recovered in Modesto, CA. Both suspects were identified as 17 year old males. Arrests warrants were issued and both juveniles were taken into custody on January 9, 2025.
