Press Release - Shooting Investigation

On February 24, 2025, at 6:45 PM, a shooting incident took place on the 2200 block of Pulgas Avenue in East Palo Alto.  During the incident, an adult male victim suffered a single gunshot wound, which does not appear to be life threatening.  Prior to police arrival, the victim was transported to a local hospital by an unidentified person driving a red sedan.  The unidentified driver drove at a high rate of speed, drove recklessly, caused a vehicle collision, then left the scene, continuing to the hospital.  

The East Palo Alto Police Department needs our community’s assistance with this investigation.  We can solve this crime with assistance and support from our community members.
