Good evening East Palo Alto community,

I had a community member reach out to me inquiring about a great deal of noise taking place during the early morning hours of October 25 and 26, which was accompanied by flashing lights.  I did not locate any gunfire in our Shotspotter system, so I conducted a deeper search, looking for sounds that the Shotspotter algorithm filtered out as "not gunfire" and found a large number of activations concentrated on HWY 101 where all the late night construction has been taking place.  Please see the attached image, which shows the "not gunfire" activations from October 25-26.  

Hopefully the construction is completed soon so the late night / early morning noise comes to an end.  Until then, please
