Clarke Avenue Pedestrian Overcrossing Project

The bridge crosses over U.S. Highway 101 between West and East Bayshore Roads, is aligned with Clarke Avenue and connects to West Bayshore Road at Newell Road thus connecting both sides of the City of East Palo Alto. The project consisted of constructing a Class I Pedestrian/Bicycle Overcrossing Structure over U.S. Highway 101 to provide a direct connection between the south side and north side of U.S. Highway 101 in East Palo Alto.

Construction of the overcrossing was completed in July 2019.
