East Palo Alto Juneteenth is FORTY some years old and going and strong.
On this day we celebrate and uplift the freedom that came from the struggle behind us and strengthen our unity with our community for the struggle and oppression in front of us.
This event is sponsored by the city of East Palo Alto, it is the peninsula’s oldest Juneteenth which is hosted by the peninsula’s oldest black motorcycle club, the Soul Brothers and the only black and brown art collective on the peninsula Tha Hood Squad.

En este día celebramos y levantamos la libertad que vino de la lucha detrás de nosotros y fortalecemos nuestra unidad con nuestra comunidad para la lucha y la opresión delante de nosotros.
Este evento está patrocinado por la ciudad de East Palo Alto, es el Juneteenth más antiguo de la península y está organizado por el club de motociclistas más antiguo de la península, los Soul Brothers y el único colectivo de arte negro y marrón de la península Tha Hood Squad.
