City Wide Bus Stop Improvement Project

The City will be upgrading and improving the bus stops within the City at both City maintained stops and Samtrans maintained stops. In 2019, the City received $1 Million to improve the bus stops from the Affordable Housing and Sustainable Communities (AHSC) grant as part of the Light Tree housing project. These improvements include new bus shelters, trash cans, concrete improvements, and other amenities.

The project was awarded to Sposeto Engineering at the 12/14/2023 City Council meeting.The Plans Specifications and Estimate (PS&E) package with information on locations/scope can be found here. The additional concrete work was added to the scope can be found here.
