Measure C Evaluation

In 2015, Bright Research Group (BRG) was selected through a competitive RFP process to conduct the evaluation of Measure C’s Violence Prevention investments (Grants) and in mid-2016, the City expanded the scope of work to include an evaluation of Public Safety Funds allocated to the Police Department. (The link for the evaluation of the East Palo Alto Police Department (EPAPD) use of Measure C Funds is listed above under the Public Safety Program heading.). The subsequent reports provide the results of both evaluations of investments supported through Measure C. 

This evaluation report describes the investments made during the first six years of the Measure C violence prevention program. This report summarizes the findings from two previous reports: a Retrospective Study of Grantees 2009 – 2013 and an Evaluation of Grants, 2013 – 2015.
